The biggest problem I've noticed with most DAW machines, to be honest, is that people tend to run a really out of date operating system software on them. You want your DAW to eat your CPU power, not your virus checker. It's just "good enough" but of all the malware tools out there, it's probably the leanest. If Windows, the best advice is to upgrade to the latest version of Windows and use the built-in one.
